Hi, I am Patty.

I am the Executive Director of Deaf Spotlight, overseeing artistic and cultural programming to support Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled and Hard of Hearing artists and their work. Whenever I can, I love to build and create meaningful artwork reflecting my lived experience and learnings throughout my life. I have been involved with the Deaf and DeafBlind communities as a supporter and activist for 22 years.

I have a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Washington, and an MA in Nonprofit Management for the Arts from New York University.

Everyone has the ability to create and express their story through the arts. Creativity is the way of life.
